What is remapping?

Remapping is one of the best ways to unlock the hidden performance from your car. Much like your phone or computer, this runs on software program and updates to improve performance, remapping your car is a similar concept as we download the file from your vehicle, adjust the parameters and return the file to your vehicle with the improved performance.

Most remaps are done in a non-invasive way through what is known as the diagnostic port which is easily accessible on most vehicles, but others may require the ECU to be removed to remap the vehicle.

What are the benefits of remapping?

Is this legal?

Yes, remapping is legal as long as emission related items are not altered. We do offer solutions for customers with issues EGR, DPF and Adblue but removal of these items is not legal in most countries for road use, this includes UK and Europe, and therefore should only be used for vehicles not used on public highways / offroad use.

What if i change my mind?

All remaps are reversable so if you do not like the increased performance, we can change it back!

What are the costs? 

Remapping through OBD (diagnostic port) is from as little as £230 including VAT and were the ECU is required to be removed is from £280 including VAT.

The only other cost may come from your insurance, as we always recommend you advise your insurance of any modifications carried out to the vehicle, and some insurance companies may increase your premium.
